Sashimi ni ader macam2 jenis
dan seafood yang hendak digunakan mestilah fresh. Kalau tak, tak sedap
la nanti bila makan. Selalunya sashimi dicecah dulu dengan syoyu
(soy sauce) sebelum dimakan. Depending on the kind of sashimi, wasabi
or ground ginger is usually mixed into the syoyu. Antara sashimi yg popular
termasuklah ikan maguro (tuna), toro
(fatty tuna), saba (mackerel), sake
(salmon), prawn, octopus and squid.
